Birdy is a crow who has been friends with a boy
named Jake. He can talk and be hundreds of years old. In this episode he proves
himself useful to the family and puzzle of Jake's father. Birdy and Jake have
long and lively conversations, but not everyone knows that Birdy can talk.
Jake looked pale. Mum says that they have to go
to the park to get some fresh air. Then they play football. Jake’s sister, Elle, scored a goal against Dad. Then
Jake scored two more goals. The fourth time
that Jake came in for a shot, Dad was determined to save the ball. He took a
dive towards the coat that they were using as a goal post and landed with a
heavy thud.
When they finished playing
football, they feel it’s had enough of football for one weekend. But they had
only been out for half an hour and Mum had told them to take a big walk because
Jake had been in his room for most of the week.
Jake : “Let’s get a boat! Can we please?”
Then Dad, Jake, and Elle rented a boat and
played on that little lake. After they play the boat, then they returned to the
parking lot was the key of his Dad car lost. They have been looking for where
the are playing but did not find the key. So they walked home.
Mum : “Who’s in charge, you or Jake?”
Jake : “Jake, and they all laughed.”
After that Jake went into the garden to see if Birdy was around.
Birdy was not there, when Jake returned home, Birdy flew and landed on the
garden table.
Birdy : “Is your Dad planning
on digging up any nice worms?”
Jake : "No, he's in a bad mood because he lost his car
keys,". "He has to go back to the park with the spare people so he
can get his car."
Dad could not find the spare key for a very good
reason. Mom had lost her car keys two weeks ago when she went to the gym. He
forgot to tell anyone that he had to take the taxi home to pick up the reserve
and then go back to the gym, and the two keys are gone, if the car was
overnight in the park then have to pay a large fine.
Jake could hear Mum and Dad
having a row about this. They were in the bedroom, but their voices were loud enough
to be heard in the garden.
Birdy : “Sounds like they’re blaming each
other,”
Jake : “It’s the usual thing,”
Birdy : “Well let’s see if I can help,”. (And he
flew off)
Jake went to his room, after a while he heard the sound of tapping
the window. Jake sees Birdy holding something in his beak.
Jake : “Are those the car keys?”.
Birdy : "Well, they're key to someone Ford, I found them in a
puddle near a boating shed."
Jake : “They’re probably ours.
I will tell Dad. Oh by the way, thanks. You’re an amazing bird.”
Birdy : "I know,"
Then Jake went straight to his Dad and gave the
key and he told him that Birdy had found the car keys, his Dad was confused and
disbelieving. Then they thanked Birdy who was sitting on the window sill.
"Cawwwwww!" Said Birdy.
